How to switch display between CarPlay / Android Auto and original MB audio

Push and hold of ‘BACK’ from control pad will switch display mode between CarPlay / Android Auto and MB audio.

 

 

 

 

Config of Apple CarPlay / Android auto – 2 WAY CONTROL

1. Uses the original dial knob and buttons around for config of CarPlay / Android Auto.

 

2. Uses touch screen – overlay of matching sized touch panel on display

 

The touch panel we use for NTG5*2 COMAND is all made with a capacitive touch glass.

 

We recommend using the wireless connection for CarPlay only. Android Auto wireless can be unreliable depending on the phone model, but it can still be connected wirelessly if desired.
